Goals Achieved at the Year 11 Prom
As the school year drew to a close, our Year 11 students came together to celebrate one of the most memorable milestones of their secondary school journey – the Year 11 Prom.
The evening was filled with excitement from the moment students arrived in an impressive array of stylish suits, elegant dresses and smart attire. Laughter, music and conversation created a wonderful atmosphere as friends gathered to mark the end of their GCSE years and reflect on the memories they have shared.
The venue (The Hive) provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening. Students enjoyed dancing, taking photographs with friends and staff and celebrating their achievements after months of hard work and dedication. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and it was wonderful to see students making the most of this special occasion.
For the football fans among us, the excitement did not stop at the prom festivities. Students were also able to keep an eye on the France vs Morocco match, ensuring they did not miss any of the action while still enjoying the celebrations with their friends. The result sparked plenty of discussion and added an extra buzz to an already memorable evening.
Prom was not only a celebration of the end of Year 11 but also an opportunity to recognise the resilience, commitment and maturity our students have shown throughout their time at school. They have faced challenges, embraced opportunities and grown into confident young people ready for the next stage of their education and future careers.
A special thank you goes to the staff who organised the event and to families for their continued support. Their efforts helped make the evening such a success.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 cohort and wish them every success as they move on to new adventures. The Year 11 Prom was a fitting end to an important chapter and a wonderful celebration of everything they have achieved.
Congratulations, Year 11! We hope you enjoyed every moment of your well-deserved celebration and that the memories of this special evening stay with you for years to come.
Mrs. Saunders, Head of Year 11
