We recognise that a good working relationship with home is essential to ensuring the best progress for your child throughout their schooling. Your views as parents and carers matter to us and we recognise that your active participation in school life is crucial.
At Whitmore we are proud to enjoy a close working partnership with parents and carers facilitated through our Parent & Carer Voice and the information below will give you a flavour of the opportunities open to all parents & carers of students at the school.
What is the Parents' Forum?
The Parents' Forum meetings take place once a half-term, on a Tuesday evening from 6:30pm until 7:30pm. The meetings are open to all parents/carers and provide you with the opportunity to find out more about the school, discuss your ideas, concerns and suggestions in an informal environment.
Previous meetings have included topics such as keeping your safe child online, sample lessons, using the SIMS Learning Gateway, interpreting assessment data and much more!
The programme is led by the parents and we welcome any feedback you may have on the topics that are of use to you.
When are the Parents' Forum meetings?
All meetings start at 6:30pm in the Atrium - please enter via the Community Entrance.
