Parent Forum

We recognise that a good working relationship with home is essential to ensuring the best progress for your child throughout their schooling. Your views as parents and carers matter to us and we recognise that your active participation in school life is crucial.

At Whitmore we are proud to enjoy a close working partnership with parents and carers, and we work hard to ensure that there are lots of opportunities for us to discuss key issues around the school with you.

The information below will give you a flavour of the opportunities open to all parents & carers of students at the school.

PARENT FORUM

WHAT IS THE PARENT FORUM?

The Parent Forum meetings take place once a half-term, on a Tuesday evening from 6:30pm until 7:30pm. The meetings are open to all parents/carers and provide you with the opportunity to find out more about the school, discuss your ideas, concerns and suggestions in an informal environment. Previous meetings have included topics such as keeping your child safe online, sample lessons, interpreting assessment data and much more!

WHEN ARE THE PARENT FORUM MEETINGS?

All meetings start at 6:30pm - please enter via the main school entrance.
