The School Day

In line with the government’s guidance, the school has completed a comprehensive risk assessment and will be operating with some important changes to the school day to keep students, staff and the wider community safe:

  • We will be operating a timetable with double lessons only. This reduces the 'contacts' each day (staff-students; students-students) and thus the transmission risk. It also reduces movement around the school for staff and students.
  • The timetable for Year 13s will look like this:
Year 7, Year 8 & Year 9
Time Lesson
08:45 – 09:05 Registration, PSHE, Virtual Assembly
09:05 – 10:45 Double Lesson 1
10:45 – 11:05 Break
11:05 – 11:55 Double Lesson 2 (first half)
11:55 – 12:45 Lunch
