ASSISTANT SITE SUPERVISOR

We are looking for an Assistant Site Supervisor who would like to join our dynamic and successful school; someone who would like to be part of a friendly and hard-working team.
 


The successful candidate will:

  • Carry out general maintenance, repairs and cleaning functions around the school site
  • Operate appropriate machinery and learn and use specialist systems and equipment
  • Organise, monitor and oversee the safe work of external contractors
  • Understand the importance of health and safety, have a good working knowledge of health and safety at work and comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Show initiative and have the ability to work independently
  • Enjoy working in a very busy and demanding environment
  • Believe in the importance of teamwork and a collaborative approach
  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible in their approach with a pro-active approach to problem solving
  • Be reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Be committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the principles and practice of equal opportunities
  • Be committed to the principles and practice of safeguarding all young people
