WELFARE OFFICER

We are looking for a Welfare Officer who would like to join our dynamic and successful school; someone who would like to be part of a friendly and hard-working team.
The successful candidate will:
- Supervise the medical room and be the first point of contact for anyone who requires medical attention.
- Manage and administer medications held in school – store securely, keep records up to date, monitor expiry dates and request replacements as required.
- Ensure the school is provided with Individual Health Care Plans (IHCP) and keep accurate records of these
- Ensure the accident report logbook and forms are properly completed and completing accident reports in line with RIDDOR regulations including records of hazardous materials usage
- Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to show initiative, prioritise own work load and meet all deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Be a positive team player, working collaboratively and believe in the importance of team work and a collaborative approach
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible in their approach with
- Be reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Be committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the principles and practice of equal opportunities
- Be committed to the principles and practice of safeguarding all young people
