The successful candidate will:
- Lead, manage, develop, and be accountable for a year team and the programme for a specific cohort of students in order to ensure the highest possible standards of student achievement, personal development and well-being.
- Be responsible for the strategic direction and development of the year group. Leading and managing staff, student progress and standards of achievement, personal development, safeguarding and well-being.
- Be responsible for the efficient and effective deployment of staff and resources
- Be responsible for contributing to whole school development and improvement
- Be an influential teacher who is committed to getting the best outcomes for the students in our school
- Be committed to equal opportunities for all and to the safeguarding and welfare of young people
