Pineapple Dance Trip 2016
This year, Whitmore was lucky enough to continue
our working partnership with The Movement Factory and Pineapple Dance Studios and we once again had the amazing opportunity to go to Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden. This was a fantastic opportunity and a treasured memory for our enthusiastic dancers.
The students took part in dance workshops held by famous choreographers and got to meetdancers from other schools.
After this, the students practised the routines that they had learnt during their weekly sessions with a Pineapple choreographer at school. They then performed these routines to the other schools and were praised for being one of the tidiest and most practised group of performers. The students also had the opportunity to see the professionals preparing for their classes and watch some of the auditions taking place for a new West End musical.
We will be visiting the studios again in the new term, so make sure you come to the Main Hall on a Monday after school to learn the routines if you would like to join. Everyone is welcome!
